The journey begins with the gentle sprinkling of Ganga Jal, invoking the purifying power of Water. A sacred mantra is chanted to invite Akasha, the etheric space of divine connection. Warm, herb-infused oils representing Earth are poured through the hair and scalp in rhythmic strokes, grounding the energy and nourishing the roots. As the Abhyanga unfolds, we whisper a sacred Kesha (hair) mantra, infusing each strand with vitality and reverence. The breath and movement awakens the element of Air, circulating prana through the marma points. Once the oils have deeply absorbed, the Dhoopana, a Ayurvedic art of smoking the hair begins. Fragrant herbal smoke, embodying Fire, gently weaves through the hair, sealing in nourishment, purifying the scalp, and sanctifying the crown. The aromatic vapors calm the senses, open the Ajna (third eye) and Sahasrara (crown) chakras, and awaken a state of inner stillness.
